Memorial Matching Grants
The Civil Justice Foundation Memorial Matching Grant program is designed to help Foundation contributors maximize a memorial contribution to the Foundation. The program works as follows:
- Anyone (AAJ (formerly ATLA) members, state TLA's, families of injury victims, etc;) can make a contribution to the Civil Justice Foundation, under the "Memorial Matching Grant Program."
- The contributor may designate a name or names for the funds to memoralize.
- The Civil Justice Foundation Board of Trustees, at their next grantmaking meeting, will match the contributed funds, up to a maximum of $10,000. A one-time grant will then be made to one or more deserving grassroots consumer advocacy organizations under the chosen name.
- The Memorial Grant will be publicized through a Foundation press release, and a Memorial Grant Plaque will be presented to the contributor.
- The Civil Justice Foundation Trustees reserve the exclusive right to choose grant recipients under this program.
